Meeting with CCA Officials, Assam on July 12, 2023

Sri Shantanu Choudhury, President, Sri Arijit Roy Pradhani, CS, Sri A.R. Boro, ACS & Sri Gobinda Chandra Sarmah, Treasurer visited CCA office & taken up the following issues of our members with the concerned officers of CCA Pension Cell.

1.Reflection of double entry of Income in AIS of Sri Mrinal Kanti Chakraborty, Rtd DGM,Silchar - we have raised this issue with the concerned Accounts officer & it is intimated by the AO that frequent reshuffling of duties amongst AOs has resulted this unwarranted mistkaes specially in cases of migrated pensioners. However this will not cause any problem as they are issuing the signed copy of pay slip for the migrated period under CCA which may be submitted during filling of ITR.No further action is required in this regard. In view of above,we request all our migrated members to inform us if they encounter any such issue ,we will arrange for signed copy of Payslip as done in case of Mrinal Chkaraborty.

2.Non-issuance of Form-16 of Munmun Dey wife of Late Subrata Kumar Dey of Bongaigaon, a family pensioner- On enquiry it was intimated by the concerned officer of PDA that since no Income tax was deducted in respect of Munmun Dey hence Form-16 was not generated.However if she requires to submit the ITR they will issue signed copy of Pay Slip for the entire financial year. In view of above, we request our Joint Secretary of Bongaigaon SSA Sri Utpal Goswami to convey this message to Munmun Dey wife of late Subrata Kumar Dey.

3.We have also handed over the provisional pension order of Abhijit Das issued by Bongaigaon SSA for the period July'23 to December'23 to AO pension so that there is no discontinuition of pension disbursement. We have already intimated & shared the order issued by the CCA, Assam regarding submission of Commutation of Pension application directly to CCA before the 3months of actual Superannucation( for VRS pensioners).
